Trust & Safety

Use this page when you need to check verification status or understand what the Trust & Safety screen is showing.

Who this is for

  • Users checking identity or account verification
  • Users who want to know why a status is still incomplete
  • Users who need to start KYC through Veriff

Before you start

  • Open Settings and go to Trust & Safety
  • Be ready to allow camera and microphone permissions for KYC
  • Know that email and phone verify actions exist, but they look less complete than the KYC flow

Steps

  1. Check the four visible states: Real human, Identification document, Email, and Phone number.
  2. If Real human or Identification document is incomplete, start the KYC flow.
  3. If the app sends you to Veriff, allow the requested permissions and finish the identity check.
  4. If Email or Phone number is still incomplete, use the verification path the app provides and then return to Settings.
  5. Reopen the page after finishing verification so the latest status can load.

What happens next

  • KYC updates the real human and identification document states
  • Email and phone may still need their own verification path
  • The app should reflect the latest state after the verification flow finishes

Contact support when

  • Veriff will not start after permissions are allowed
  • A completed KYC does not update the Trust & Safety screen
  • Email or phone verification keeps looping without finishing
  • The screen shows an unexpected state that does not match your account
